We know how important it is for dog owners to be with their best friend when on holiday. At Gerharts, you and your dog are very welcome! To help us make your pets feel at home, please remember to bring their blanket, dog basket and favourite food.
A walk around town
The long paths along the Eisack river, near our apartments, are perfect for a long walk with your canine friend. In Milland, just south of Brixen, there is a dedicated area where dogs can run free and stretch their paws properly.
Hiking with your dog
Brixen is a dog-friendly holiday destination. There are plenty of footpaths through idyllic meadows, forests and alpine pastures that are sure to set Fido’s tail wagging. Additionally, most lift facilities allow dog transportation. There’s an outdoor paradise waiting for you and your dog at the top of Mt. Plose!
Rules for everyone’s happiness
Please be aware that Italian laws require dogs to be kept on a lead. Therefore, please make sure that you always carry your lead and muzzle with you when you leave the apartment. These must be shown on public transport or on demand by public authorities.
